Some of the best advice I’ve been given: “Saying yes to something is say no to something else.” This is something that has resonated with me a lot lately. I’m feeling a shift in my career. I’m feeling the need for the boundaries I oh so struggle with. I’ve worked countless weekends and holidays because when I say my chair is my second home, I absolutely mean it. I’ve spent the last 5 years dedicating many weekends to my salon life & I wouldn’t change it for the world!!! I’m so thankful for my loyal weekenders. However, I am sad to announce that I will no longer be taking anymore new weekend clients for this year (don’t worry, if you have been a weekend client I’m still able to take you until next year) and in 2023 I will no longer be working Saturdays. (That felt like I just pulled a wax strip off lol!!) This is something that will be the most fruitful for my family and I. It is sad to know that not everyone will be able to make my new schedule work, but also completely that is understandable. Of course, my standing Saturday appointments that have already been made are being honored and I do have a few open Saturdays left until I officially block them out of my schedule. I thank the ones I’ve already told and that have been so understanding. The support and love y’all continue to give truly keeps this passion ignited for me. 🫶🏼
